Here is a chronology of our history

• 1993 : Servicios Portuarios S. A. De C. V. Is constituted in the Port Industrial Park of El Sauzal, Baja California, Mexico.
• 1994 : Serport acquires from the National Fund for Port Development (FONDEPORT) 4 hectares of land adjoining the federal maritime-terrestrial zone. Serport begins operations in December of the same year after receiving from the Federal Government a Concession for the Operation and Exploitation of a Port Terminal, under which the company obtains the Title for the Use and Use of the adjacent dock with the lands of its property for a Area 10,000 m2.
• 1996 : Signing of a contract of rent and services with Holcim Apasco S.A. de C. V., through which the construction of the El Sauzal cement packaging, distribution and marketing plant is started, with an investment of approximately $ 6 million. In addition Serport invests $ 3.2 million in port infrastructure to provide services to merchant vessels.
• 1997 : A decree is issued by which the port of El Sauzal is authorized for coastal navigation and height.
• 2001 : Serport receives from the SEMARNAT authorization to carry out Works to Win Land to Sea with which the expansion of the Port Terminal is projected.
• 2002 : Serport receives from the SEMARNAT Concession Title under which it is granted the right to use, occupy and take advantage of the Federal Maritime Land Zone for Activities Related to Works Proposed to Earn Land to Sea.
• 2003 : The Secretary of Communications and Transportation publishes in the Official Gazette an agreement by which the Port Area of the Port of El Sauzal, Ensenada municipality, with an extension of 211 Hectares, is delimited and determined.
• 2005 : Serport acquires land of 4,200 m2 and warehouse in front of pier 2 of the port.
• 2007 : Serport acquires land of 3,600 m2 in front of pier 2 of the port, reaching a total of 48,700 m2 of land and port facilities with sea front.
• 2011 : Servicios Portuarios Shipyard enters into operation to provide maintenance services, repairs and shipbuilding, as well as the scrapping of vessels and the recycling of steel.
• 2012 : Design, manufacture of a controlled environment "habitat" for dry hyperbaric welding.
• 2014 : Servicios Portuarios designs, manufactures and constructs in its workshops of machining and assembly an underwater drill with broken hammer pneumatic adapted. Also, it is designed and manufactured a reel system of sending and receiving of instruments of last technology in measurement and inspection of submarine ducts, for Pemex.
• 2014 : Servicios Portuarios is proud to achieve the certification of the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) in welding processes.
• 2015 : The Wharf Ramp is extended lengthwise by 14.7 m increasing its capacity to receive 2 boats at the same time.
